Are you interested in applying for a Fulbright Grant?

The Fulbright Program offers educational and cultural exchange opportunities to both U.S. citizens and citizens of other nations. Many different programs exist for scholars and professionals, students, primary and secondary school teachers, and Fulbright alumni.

Fulbright exchanges are U.S. government programs administered through the Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and the Department of Education’s Office of Postsecondary Education. They are governed by policies and procedures established by the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.

Welcome to the Colorado Chapter of the Fulbright Association!

The Colorado Chapter serves some 150 members spread across the state and exists to further the overall goal of the Fulbright Association: to promote international understanding and contribute to an ongoing discussion about living and participating in our multicultural world. Specifically, the chapter supports visiting Fulbright Students, Scholars, and Teachers and aims to enhance their experience of American life and culture, to promote communication among alumni of Fulbright programs, to publicize and encourage applications to these programs, and to advocate for increased funding by Congress.

Each year, the Colorado Chapter sponsors about nine statewide events, to provide educational, cultural and social opportunities for visiting Fulbrighters and Fulbright alumni. We are very excited about this year’s wonderful calendar of events. We encourage you to participate in these activities to meet other Fulbright alumni and to welcome and support our visiting Fulbrighters.

Additionally, please consider getting involved by helping to organize or host a local chapter event, providing transportation to events for visiting Fulbrighters, or providing other support to the chapter using your special talents or expertise.  We look forward to your input and would of course like to know what type of future events would be of interest to you.
